Appointments:

Appointments are in person only at the Bury Skin and Laser Clinic at 214A Hornby Street, Bury BL9 5EG. Any treatment over £60 totalling or exceeding 45minutes will require 50% of the total price paid upfront to secure the appointment. Packages require 100% payment or payment plans discussed in instalments. Customers are expected to arrive on time, otherwise forfeiture of appointment is likely, and we cannot guarantee availability for late arrivals.

Prices and Packages:

Prices of products and services and delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability. Pre-purchased packages and treatments cannot be exchanged or refunded with any other offer or promotion. The price paid at the time of purchase will remain the applicable price at all times, even if subsequent offers or promotions result in the same packages or treatments increasing or decreasing in price.

Cancellation Policy:

You are very important to us at the Bury Skin and Laser Clinic. We hold your appointments just for you and ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, please provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice. This way, our team will be able to adjust their schedules accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list. We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency.

Last minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ will be charged a cancellation fee each time. Here is our general breakdown of cancellation fees:

• Less than 48-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of reserved appointment(s)

• ‘NO SHOWS’ will be charged 100% of service amount

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call or send a text message and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.

Medical Concerns:

Customers are expected to provide the Bury Skin and laser Clinic with any information relating to medical conditions/allergies, which could affect their treatments. Even if it seems trivial, tell us. The Bury Skin and Clinic will not be responsible for any reactions that could have been avoided should you fail to advise the member of staff carrying out your treatment.

Anti-Social Behaviour:

Bury Skin and Laser Clinic has a Zero Tolerance policy to any form of anti-social behaviour towards staff and customers. Here we take it very seriously if our staff are treated in an abusive or violent way. Our ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy recognises that staff have a right to carry out their job/roles without fear of being attacked, abused and/or bullied.

All our staff aim to be polite, helpful, and sensitive to all client’s individual needs and circumstances. However, aggressive behaviour, be it violent, abusive or verbal will not be tolerated and may result in you being asked to leave the clinic and in extreme cases the police being contacted,

In order for the clinic to maintain good relation with their clients we would like you all to read and note the following types of behaviour that would be found unacceptable:

• Using bad language or swearing towards staff

• Any physical violence towards any member of staff or other clients such as pushing or shoving

• Verbal abuse towards the staff in any form including verbally insulting the staff

• Racial abuse and sexual harassment will not be tolerated in this clinic

• Persistent or unrealistic demands that cause stress to staff will not be accepted. Requests will be met wherever possible and explanations given when they cannot

• Causing damage/stealing from the clinics premises, staff and/or other clients.

This is not an inclusive list; we ask that you treat our staff and other clients courteously at all times.

Personal Behaviours:

Bury Skin and Laser Clinic are not responsible for the safekeeping of clients lost personal belongings. Although every effort is made to contact customers should any lost property be found, we cannot guarantee the safe return of anything that may have been left in our clinic and responsibility should be that of the client and not the therapist or any member of staff.

Gift Vouchers:

Our Gift Cards are available for all treatments and products, are non-refundable and must be produced at the time of use. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or other treatments other than what was purchased.

Patch Test:

Certain treatments will require a patch test to be carried out at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. This is for your own wellbeing and is essential, even if you have had that particular treatment at another salon.

We will not carry out any treatments requiring a patch test if the patch test has not been done, and will not accept a signed declaration from yourself as a substitute.

Certain treatments we may be able to go ahead without that particular part of the treatment.

We try our best to remind all clients of their patch test towards the 48 hours timeframe, but please remember that we are very busy and cannot always keep an eye on timings. All clients will be informed at the time of booking if they need to come for a prior patch test, and are therefore responsible for remembering to come in for one. If we notice you have not had the necessary patch test needed for your treatment to take place, despite us making you aware, and have been unable to contact you, your appointment may be released to another client to avoid a wasted appointment. We will do everything we can to contact you before doing this, so please be sure to answer any voicemails or emails we may have left for you as soon as possible.
